Kirby left us today
He died when I was very young but I still miss Thousand Oaks's greatest resident. Thankfully he left us with a ton of work. I'm just discovering The Eternals which is basically Kirby's version of the creation myth. It's wonderful stuff.

For the last thirty years of his life (he's buried there, too). In the text pages to the comics he made in the '70s the P.O. Box is in Newbury Park.
