What the is this?
Comic books, rock 'n' roll and movies. I like to think that I've matured past 14-years-old but I suppose you will have to be the judge of that.

Political thought for the day

So take these three politicians in the public's eye right now.

Barack Obama has a multi-racial background, has lived in various parts of the world and has known both being dependent on food stamps while being raised by a single mother to graduating at the top of his class at Harvard Law School. But the American public doesn't say "he's like us."

John McCain has seen war, been a prisoner subjected to torture by a foreign enemy and stood by his fellow soldiers even when given the chance to have his painful situation truncated. But the American public doesn't say "he's like us."

Sarah Palin was a beauty queen, a local television sports report and a governor that rules while holding personal grudges and entertaining the idea of book banning. The American public's verdict? "She's just like us!"

The American public will get the kind of country it really deserves, even if they can't quite figure out what that is.
